The music on this recording is a medley of both ancient and traditional Celtic tunes, ancient Welsh tunes, American hymns and some improvisation. It was done at a heart beat rhythm which is best suited for those in need of relaxation, pain management, or anxiety relief. Various uses for this type of tempo range from birthing mothers, premature infants, post surgery pain relief, massage therapy, hospice or hospital stress relief, to simple relaxation at home.

The therapeutic music on this recording is suitable for those in need of extreme relaxation; such as persons in hospice care, undergoing massage therapy, or seeking a deep meditative state. The notes are drawn out with gentle pauses between them. This helps create a "conversation" between the music and the breathing of the listener. Not holding a steady tempo allows for greater introspection and relaxation.
